Venture Forum RVA, in partnership with Activation Capital's UpRiver event, is proudly announcing the rvAwesome Founders Celebration, previously known as Venture Forum RVA's "Companies to Watch".
“Activation Capital, in partnership with Venture Forum RVA, is excited to announce UpRiver 2019, a founder-led summit to be held this year at the Washington Redskins Bon Secours Training Center on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30. The summit will include Venture Forum RVA’s rvAwesome Founders awards gala highlighting the diverse types of companies in RVA, and RVATech’s Techxpo and Battle of the Geek Bands at the Science Museum of Virginia.

When we collaborate, RVA becomes stronger and the same thing is true with our events. Venture Forum RVA, in partnership with Activation Capital, will kick off the UpRiver Summit with its annual rvAwesome Founders awards on the evening of Tuesday, October 29. The fun continues on Wednesday with content sessions and workshops focused around the needs of founders using data gathered from RVA’s entrepreneurial and innovation community. Following the educational programming, attendees will move to the Science Museum of Virginia for RVATech’s Techxpo and Battle of the Geek Bands.
