Which companies will shape Richmond’s future?

Each year we gather nominations of successful companies that are on the verge of making an even larger impact in Richmond’s economic future. A panel of judges will narrow the nominations down to the best of the best that we will celebrate at a grand event. Join us to find out who is leading the way in RVA.

Emerging Startups

Up-and-comers you think are sure to make a big impact in Richmond’s economic future.

We define emerging start-up as a business that has developed a successful product or service prototype, has some evidence that they have a viable product or service offering, have a defined sales strategy, have been in business for 3 years or less.

Growth Companies

Companies who are poised for big growth or have shaped major innovation in Richmond.

We define growth company as a business who generates significant positive cash flows or earnings, which increase at significantly faster rates than the overall economy. A growth company tends to have very profitable reinvestment opportunities for its own retained earnings.
